At present we are uncertain about indoor meetings.
Changes will be noted here and in the newsletter.
We meet at Theydon Bois Village Hall (see below), usually on the second Friday of each month. We usually have a demonstration or a talk by a professional artist. There are plenty of opportunities to ask questions or for advice. Most meetings start at 8.00 pm and finish at about 10 pm but the December meeting starts at 7.30 with refreshments.
Non-members are very welcome and are charged 4 pounds.
Please sign the visitors book.
Tea and coffee are available at the break.
We had to cancel our planned exhibition in May and had booked the hall for an exhibition on Saturday 12th September. We have now reluctantly decided to cancel the latter. This was due to the complexity of complying with government and hall equirements for safety from infection, and because we could not see how to eliminate some risks to members and visitors. We sinceely apologise. There will be no outdoor meetings this year.
We are kindly allowed to show a selection of paintings by members in the window of the shop at 12,Coppice Row, Theydon. This is changed about once a month. Paintings may be purchased but please do not contact the shop. If you wish to buy a painting, note the price and the title and contact Barry Turner 01992 812652 or Trish Haslehurst 01992 812177.
A pleasant, modern building on Coppice Row, (the B172), Theydon Bois, CM16 7ER, opposite the Village Green. There is a large free car park for visitors and users of the hall.
