Trevor will be concentrating on pastel over acrylic, as he did for his recent very enjoyable demonstration, but will be happy for people to use other materials if they wish.
As it is in October it is possible that we will be able to work outdoors, however, the chances are that we will need to bring along our own references for working indoors. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be supplied at the venue and there is a café nearby.
Our then President, Tom Coates, opened our exhibition at the Barbican Library which brought to the end the five year period which he agreed to serve. He has made some very amusing and inspiring speeches, has selected worthy winners of the President's Prize and has shown us some of his amazing sketchbooks. Thanks Tom, and good luck for the future. This year Tom selected Shelagh Hoolihan for the President's Prize.
Our Committee invited a well known and respected long-term member of the Club, John Tookey PS to be the next President. John accepted and is now President.
After the essential business of the 2018 AGM, and cups of tea, biscuits and sociable talk, John Tookey gave a lively and very well received watercolour demonstration.
