Peter Luscombe is an architect, now retired. He is essentially a watercolour painter with a tendency to favour subjects that include buildings, though he does tackle a wide variety of other subjects including portraiture, still life, landscape and marine.
He is a member and former chairman of the Canvas Club, the art group of the Friends of the Maritime Museum, a liveryman of The Worshipful Company of Painter Stainers, one of the Livery Companies of the City of London, and a member of the Essex Art Club, of which he is currently vice chairman.
He exhibits regularly with all three of these bodies and has won various prizes with each of them.
