The Club now runs "Informal Painting Sessions". Members  gather together, normally on the second Sunday of the month, at St Barnabas Church Hall, Snakes Lane East, Woodford Green, IG8 7HX from 2.30 - 4.30 pm.  The cost is £2.50 for members and £5.00 for non-members.  Refreshments are provided.

A still life is provided each week, although you can paint, draw sculpt exactly what you want.  All paints and equipment are to be brought by the individual.  No oil painting with turps or traditional solvents because of the smell.  There are tables and chairs but bring an easel if you want.  On some occasions a model may be provided for portraiture.

Please do not use turps or white spirit in the Hall and use fixative sprays out of doors.

Woodford Underground Station is 100 metres away, W13 buses stop near the Church and there is car parking within the Church premises and more on the streets around.  Please note that Snakes Lane East runs downhill from the station.  Do not search for the Church Hall in Snakes Lane West, which is on the far side of the railway, and runs uphill from the station.  The railway car park is on that side.

Please check on dates if you have not attended before.
