Has had a lifelong involvement with watercolour painting, from the early days of architectural drawing office experience, project presentation, perspectives, etc. until early retirement in the 1970's offered a broader range of activity.
Subject matter generally focussed around Essex and more particularly Epping Forest and the adjacent London and river areas. Circumstances provided frequent opportunities to paint in North Norfolk coastal locations, which together with the influence of such 'greats' as Seago and Wesson, provided all the 'magic' required.
Have been an exhibiting member of the EAC for 30 odd years (was Chairman for 15) and was a regular exhibitor at the R.I. in earlier days.
During that period, was also involved with running classes in Adult Education, in what I prefer to describe as a Technician/demonstrator role.
