Drawing and painting has always been a means of expression and a desire to share the beauty of form , light. and nature with others . I paint mainly in oils and I am inspired by light , colour , and tone . I find life and figure drawing a challenging and rewarding discipline and a liberating contrast to a working life in construction and engineering .
I have attended the Slade School of art together with many art courses in painting and life drawing .
