Retirement gave me the opportunity to pursue a lifelong interest in art, with an
enrolment on to a foundation course in Art and besign that broadened my horizons and introduced me to a diverse range of disciplines. This led to a B.A. (Hons) degree in Fine Art, culminating in a Masters degree from the University of East London.
Whilst colour and form excite my interest, drawing is the basis of my art which is
expressed through the twin disciplines of painting and printmaking: the direct
complementing the indirect: the unique supporting the multiple image, and vice versa.
