Francisco Ferrer Fuentes: ‘Criado ‘I began painting in 1975 at the Banbury School of Art Buckinghamshire. From this early beginning my love of art in all media grew. I then attended The Redbridge Institute where I gained an A level in art. After this I wanted to expand and continue my learning and I joined a college in Newham and gained a BTEC Diploma in Fine Art. Then, continuing at the Guildhall University of Art and Waltham Forest College in East London, I have gained experience in using many different media including oils, pastels, watercolour and charcoal. I gained several qualifications in City and Guilds, during this period of time. I have also attended classes in Botanical Illustration and Life Drawing. The style that I have developed is a combination of figurative and abstract. My preference is for botanical subjects in watercolour, however, I have now developed a style that is semi- abstract and reflects my love of natural subjects, giving movement and life. I belong to the Leyton Art Group, and the Essex Art Club, exhibiting regularly with them at various venues. I have had a number of very successful exhibitions including: Group exhibitions1979 Chekers College1998 Redbridge College 1999 Newham College 2001 Woodford Green Library 2003 University of Madrid (Spain) 2004/05/06 Royal College of Art 2005 Kaleidoscope Gallery 2006 Gallery 47 One man shows:2003 Kenneth Moore Theatre2006 Real Sociedad Valenciana de Agricultura y Deportes.
