I have always been intrigued by colour, shape and movement and everything to do with living things.
I remember drawing and painting from an early age and have never missed an opportunity to study and learn more. As a mature student at college I studied art and painting. After a long teaching career there are still many avenues of painting to pursue, being passionate about mountains and fells and living and growing things.
I enjoy working in oil pastel and watercolour, and am particularly
inspired by Rembrandt, Guthrie, Schwitters and Francis Bacon.
